How to Design a Rooftop Golf Practice Range: Layout, Turf, and Sightlines
A single net in a corner solves the safety problem, but a genuine rooftop practice range is a small piece of design work — you are deciding how a tee zone, a net zone, and often a short-game corner share a limited, exposed footprint, on a surface that was built to shed water and carry foot traffic, not absorb a driver swing at full speed. Position the tee zone so your swing path runs parallel to the roof's longest open dimension where possible, and never toward a stairwell, door, or the roof edge — even a well-netted setup should not have its line of fire pointed at a place people walk.

These are different products doing different jobs.
